Constructed in 1981, Ridgeview Elementary School is the newest of the three elementary Schools in Craig.

The school is at 600 Westridge Road in the Ridgeview subdivision in west Craig.

The two-story building houses students in kindergarten through fourth grades.

In the most recent Colorado School Accountability Report for the 2005-2006 school year, Ridgeview received a rating of average.

The Ridgeview staff strives to create an ideal learning environment for each of its students. Numerous programs are in place to help students reach their maximum potential.

Academic achievement, with a focus on literacy and math, is a top priority.

The development of a positive self-concept while promoting student responsibility is emphasized throughout the School.

Physical education, music, art and technology are also integrated into the learning experience to offer a balanced approach to educating the "whole child."
