Hayden High School

Hayden High School, 495 W. Jefferson Ave., was built in 1972 and a gymnasium was added in 1986.

The school has about 150 students in the ninth through 12th grades.

The school competes in Colorado High School Athletic Association Class 2A Western Slope League. Boys sports include basketball, wrestling and track and field. Girls sports include volleyball, basketball and track and field. The high school's football team competes at the 1A level.

Troy Zabel is the Hayden High School principal.
