Sandrock Elementary School

Sandrock Elementary School, formerly Craig Intermediate School, was built in 1964. In 1996, when Craig Middle School was divided into two separate schools, CIS housed fifth- and sixth-grade students. In 2009, when a new Craig Middle School was constructed, CMS serves sixth- through eighth-graders, and Sandrock was created as one of four elementary schools to srve students in preschool to fifth-grade..

Located at 201 E. Ninth St., the school has an instructional program that includes art, music, physical education, Title I and special education. There are 387 students at Sandrock.

Kamisha Siminoe is the school's principal.
